Women’s Summer Breakaway

Alisa Childers is a former CCM recording artist with the Dove award-winning group ZOEgirl, and author of the book “Your Truth and Other Lies,” Alisa Childers has become a force in Christian apologetics. Speaking into and through a confusing cultural context in the church, she has amassed a huge social media platform appealing to a growing contingent of young Christians, while speaking across generational lines. And now, we are excited to welcome her as our Bible Teacher for the 2024 Women’s Breakaway.

Our Missionary speaker is a police wife, mother to two daughters, women’s ministry leader, and the co-founder of TACTICA Ministries, Gretchen Rought. Over 17 years ago, Gretchen and her husband Ryan moved to Costa Rica to establish TACTICA, a Christian non-profit organization that ministers internationally to police officers and their families. Gretchen’s contagious energy empowers her commitment to authentic relationships while teaching others and discipling new believers. She is currently studying for her master’s degree in Crisis Response and Trauma Counseling. In her free time, you can find her inventing meals in the kitchen, mentoring other police wives, or chatting with her newlywed daughters via Facetime. Gretchen is fervently dedicated to her Christian faith, her family, and serving others.
