Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference – one of the nation’s premier Christian conference and retreat centers – is hosting Faith Bible Seminary President, Brent Aucoin and his wife Janet for a very special restorative and engaging marriage retreat the week of August 19-23, 2023. This is a family vacation week of great teaching, fellowship, worship, and full kids programming for toddlers through teens throughout the week!

Brent and Janet will lead several sessions to build, strengthen, and even restore your marriage with Christ at the center. This is a retreat that any married couple will benefit from, whether your marriage is solid and growing or needs loving attention and focus.

Pastors and Biblical Counselors, this one is also for you! We know the stress and strain you endure in serving the church, particularly in counseling marriages. There will be a special set of optional sessions each afternoon to encourage and strengthen your ministry in counseling marriages. This will include topical approaches to tough issues, general encouragement and support, and abundant fellowship and conversation on being better in the ministry work of counseling marriages. We encourage you to consider bringing your counselees to this great retreat! Note, scholarships may be available!

Of course, all of this takes place on Maranatha’s 88-acre retreat center on Lake Michigan, featuring the spectacular lake, lake-side pool, trails, mini golf, tennis, pickleball, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, ropes course, climbing wall, and much more. Maranatha is affordable, with a wide range of accommodations, from basic hotel rooms to luxury condos. Great food options are available in our wonderful dining facility, Sweet Shop, and several units have full kitchens if you want to cook your own food.
